Has anyone read this book? I heard Price speak on NPR, he read the story about the pheasant. I was wondering if it was worth picking up or if the only story worth reading was the one on air.

The book has gotten good reviews. If you like memoir-writing and have an affinity for the midwest, especially Iowa where Price is from, then it sounds like it might be worthwhile.

However, one of my other groups is the "Books Off the Shelf" challenge where I'm doing my best to whittle down my list of unread-yet-owned books without buying new. If you or anyone else reads this one, I'd love to hear what you think of it.
