Twilight

Ok, so Stephanie Meyer did pretty well writing The Twilight Saga. The movie also seems to have swept the world off it's feet. I don't understand that, because I think that the movie was absolutely horrible in comparison to the book. For example, five minutes into the movie Carlisle was saying things like "Bella is part of our family now" and it was much more romantic than action packed. Also, Bella Swann, when portrayed by Kirsten Stewart, goes from a really interesting character to pretty much a wimp. Who likes and who dislikes the film? I want to hear both opinions.

I haven't seen it yet, but I think it's a bit overhyped. They've done well to market Rob Pattinson as a heartthrob and sell all the merchandise.

From what you've said though, it doesn't sound like my cup of tea! If I was ever to sell the rights to anything I'd written, I would work for free if it meant they stayed true to the original text.

That's just my opinion though, sorry if I come across as too negative!

stephanie meyer books/movies are amazing in every way!!! But i blieve that the movies are better than the books cause its see able and understanding more but the movie leaves alot of good parts that the book reads! But then again i think they can change things a little so more people would be intrested in it cause many people around me claim that the book and movie are dumb because of the way the charcters are??? What do you guys think???
