Since we've got a couple of copies of this amongst us, is there anybody besides me longing for a SEQUEL? It's a great book, but if I remember correctly, the newest info came from about 1977 or thereabouts . . .

I think I'm the only other one currently in the community who has a copy, so I guess I ought to respond. ;)
I've been wishing for a sequel or new edition since I first read it, probably about five years ago. I hadn't even heard of some of the books mentioned (though I've been able to track down used copies of a few since). I'd also love to read a version that tackles linguistics in fantasy -- I've thought about writing one myself, but I've got too many projects right now as it is.
