So, we went dormant and stopped chatting.

Anyone have specific Fiber Arts goals for 2010?

I have more or less agreed to make a set of paraments for my husband's church this year. This means at least two fair linens, and a variety of narrow (2 x 30 cm) falls instead of frontals. The first fair linen is almost done, but I figure it has over 20 meters! of hemstitching, so it is taking forever.

I have also been asked to teach a few embroidery classes, so I need to design a new project, and restitch a project I designed 10-15 years ago to prepare for that.

I figure that between these two projects, and the local group I lead, I'll stay out of trouble.

For cross stitching:
- I want to finish some of the smaller souvenir kits that I bought last summer (one scissor fob almost done, 2 bookmarks and one "regular" kit).
- I want to finish my Vierlande sampler by Permin. I am a bit further along than the picture in that post but I still have a long way to go.
- I want to work on my A mon seul desir and finish at least a couple more pages.

For crochet:
- Make more amigurumi!
- Crochet something useful, like a cozy for either my iPhone, iPod, DS or laptop, or something like a bag.

I am going to a nice fiber arts fair at the end of February. Besides crochet and cross stitch I am bound to pick up knitting soon (it is genetic and therefore inevitable), but I am planning not to do that this year. However, I might pick up all kinds of new cool stuff at the fair (I got my eye on some cross stitch charts and some crochet stuff)....
