New as of now:
Mystery: One for the Money
Currently reading: Moby Dick, The Eloquent Essay, The Children's Blizzard, Biblioholism, Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitter's Almanac (still) and The Pioneer Woman Cooks and Shanghai Girls (for TIOLI too)
Any opinions on where The Disappeared might fall here?

Reviewed The Children's Blizzard here - http://www.librarything.com/work/20123/book/57731742
A good non-fiction book about weather, immigration to the Dakotas and a terrible, tragic blizzard.
Adding that to the history category.

Another Newbery Award book down - The Graveyard Book. I liked it and it totally creeped me out. I think he meant to do that (:. Reviewed on my 75er thread.

Another for the mystery category.
The Dante Club
I appreciated the literary aspect of the mystery, the taking of a real life club and the translation of Dante's Divine Comedy and building a murder mystery around it. I enjoyed references to Boston society, architecture, politics. I also liked how Holmes, portrayed as a weak character was the one who figured things out, and who found courage in the end to protect his friends. Having read Dante, I enjoyed the references, not so much the grisly murders.
Ultimately, I found the book rather ponderous. It would trundle along, barely holding my attention, then suddenly the pace and intensity would pick up for a bit, and then it was gone again. Too much work to be great.
