I'm considering using some auto-update code to provide my greasemonkey script with Automatic Updates when I upload a new version. There's a lot of different flavors of auto-update already out there. I'm a little undecided on it. I don't update my scripts that often, but when I do it'd be nice to have an easy way to get the word out since not everyone breathlessly follows the hacking group. I'd want something that was non-annoying and easy to opt out of.

Anyone have any opinions on the subject?

(FYI, I don't think any of these update scripts actually update the user script, but rather say "a new update is available, click here to get it" or something)
