I love to drive somewhere and sit and read. There are several places I have been all over Utah. Where do you like to go and sit in the sunshine and read? I go to parks, on mountain roads, Etc.

What a great idea! I am fairly new to Utah, so don't yet have my outdoor places mapped out yet. And not alot of sunshine in the Beehive State today - we got what was supposed to be an inch of snow that looks a lot like eight inches to me.

Don't worry, the sunshines coming. In the spring, as long as the sun is shining at all, you can sit in the car and read and it is plenty warm enough. One of my favorite spots, once the road is open, is the overlook of the Bingham cooper mine. You get to it from the Salt Lake Valley by going up Butterfield canyon and from the other side by Vine Street in Tooele.

Wow, I live in Tooele and I know where you are talking about. An acquaintance took me over the mountain in her four wheel drive when I first moved here and it was beautiful. I am going to try this - and the added benefit that my son is a hiker and I am a cancer survivor who couldnt make it all the way up a mountain :) - so I can make us both happy. Thanks Mud.
