This discussion is part of the Atwood in April group read.

Who's reading Year of the Flood in April? I plan to start it in a couple of days, as soon as I'm through with my current book.

I'm reading it. Going fast and really enjoying it.

I'm only a 100 pages or so into Year of the Flood, but I'm enjoying it so far. I'd meant to be farther along, but some obstacles got in the way. For one thing, I've had to do a lot of travelling in April, and it wasn't practical to lug my large hardcover volume alone. I wish I could get the e-book version for my e-reader, but I balk at paying $19 for the e-book after I'd already paid for the hardcover. I do hope publishers will eventually offer electronic/print bundles!

Anyhow, I'm back home now and will hopefully make good progress on this book in the next few days!

Just finished Year of the Flood. Enjoyed it very much. Like Oryx and Crake, it was thought-provoking but a good page-turner at the same time.
