I believe I saw an offhand comment by Tim somewhere in these forums about there should be an xml export. Is there work being done on this kind of feature?
I am looking for a way to backup the information I've put into LT, and the current exported information is pretty lacking. The main thing that is missing is the Collection the book is in.
I've posted this in the API section because if there was a more full featured API, then I'd be able to do this through the API (not intending to sound complaining here). I'd like to advocate for a non-javascript API (meaning one allowed for non-browser use) for accessing one's own content.
Also, it might behoove LT to take the lead in developing a standard xml schema for books collections. If LT does this and becomes a defacto standard, they will have the advantage of defining it convenient to them.
Comments? Suggestions? I'd really like some LT staff to help out here. Screenscraping is an option, but its the least desirable solution.
