Should we bug Tim about tags?

There are now over 15.000 tag combinations/separation above threshold. Should we bug Tim to do something about them? (It would simplify things for us...)

Yes, we should. Then we should pester him about getting tag pages to update themselves in other ways: more than 10% of my books have this tag, for example, but you wouldn't know that from looking at the page I linked to.

# 2: Yeah, I've noticed that my tags don't turn up in the work page. But since I only noticed for tags that I knew I'd added recently, I wasn't going to bring it up...

John is back working. We're rerunning tag stuff tonight. It will probably finish tomorrow afternoon.

It's great that the combinations went through, but I notice that the combined tags are not reported in 'Includes' on the tag page. Might be a bug, might need some time, but I thought I'd report it.

Yeah, that's true. In my defense, here (Europe) it was already afternoon :). We'll see what happens.

No, it's only tags.

Ah. Presumably that she's not listed there. Yes, the process that updates tags just finished, but it looks like that table is refreshed every morning at 2:30am from the tags table. I'm refreshing it now. Let's see what that does.

Fixed. I also added a note on the Help page that private members who tag don't show up there, but do show up in the total users of the tag section.

Now that everything else is updated (thanks and thanks again!), are the numbers of contributions by member here updating? It seems like I've been stuck on 10,679 votes for a good long while now -- longer than 15 minutes, certainly -- and I know I've been back a few times and voted on stuff.

Are the tags on work pages ever going to be updated? Combined tags are still showing up as separate entities. Can dig up examples if needed.

Months? Somewhere around 18 to 24 months if I remember right.

I miss tag watch, too. :( You know, I'd be fine using the old version while we're waiting for the new one ...
