Due to a completely rational fear of The Soul Eater, Bel-Shamharoth (His number lyeth between seven and nine; it is twice four), I cannot say what my word rhymes with. You do the math.

No need to be sombre, wear a sombrero, that should lighten the mood. You could also get in a lift, to elevate you.

Not elevate Not

that wasn't my word Jim....errrm, the way a bride (sometimes!) will move down the altar, or a papal procession etc

OK, I didn't get the feel of a bridal or papal procession, but...

That's not square, that's pretty groovy. Not Crenelate though, not even with a double 'l'.

Not elevate, sedate, crenelate Not

like my boss, sits behind me with his sue do this, sue do that, sue do everything, while he reads the paper?

There is a fine line (well, not so fine, really) between someone who can delegate and a lazy bastard!

Not elevate, sedate, crenelate, delegate Not

Changing "bonjour" to "hello, or "obrigado" to "thank you?"

Welcome to Crambo!

You're in at the deep end. My word was indeed 'translate'.

Your turn.

I am "chocado", "choqué", "schockiert", "conmocionado", and even "震惊"! Give me a bit of time to calm down, and I'll be back with the next Crambo shortly.
