I just devoured Hellhound on his Trail, Hampton Sides' new book about the assassination of ML King and the international manhunt that followed. Sides is an excellent writer -- see also Ghost Soldiers and Blood and Thunder -- and he presents a gripping story here. Heartily recommended.
