Eclipse Cover

No, Victoria's not dead. I'd say that it would be her, unless the Volturi have dropped in for a surprise visit. (But I believe it's more likely to be Victoria)

does anyone have an idea of what the ripped red ribbon *thats a tongue twister* mite stand for? i have no idea...

I thought that the ripped red ribbon might stand for some "pair" breaking up. Ex: Edward and Bella (even though he promised he would never leave her again), Bella and Jake, Alice and Jasper. I know its sad to think of it that way, buts its getting ripped. So it makes me think about someone breaking up....I really hope I'm wrong!

It could mean a promise being broken or a rule/law being broken.....

I agree, maybe the treaty!! That means if they break the treaty they bit a human, maybe Bella!? I hope so.

I don't think that anyone is going to be changed in Eliclipse. I'm not completely sure what the ripped red ribbon means. It could also mean that someone gets broken/dies and if that's the case I hope it Victoria.

Victoria is too annoying a character to have around anymore. I really wish Meyer would get rid of her.

#14: there can be bad guys. there has to be bad guys. the problem lies in the fact that she's annoying. it wouldn't be so sickening to have her around if she was a good bad guy, like she had layers, and other motives, and if she was more evil. i think.

If you read New Moon, Bella takes a vote and during that voting process, Edward said if the Volturres do come he'll protect her.(does mean death incuided) but also most of the family agreed for her to change and join their family and sence edward won't do it the father said he'll do it when Bella graduates, but Bella's desion might change. Who know?

19: Well, I think Victoria is actually rather interesting. Her love for James must have been rather strong if she's going to all these lengths just to get to Bella. I would love to hear more about her, bacause I think there is more to her (as there is with many others of Stephenie Meyer's characters).

it would be great to hear more about Victoria. it's entirely possible that she's an interesting character, but she has to be more evolved. she's just there and we really don't know anything about her, and i guess that just annoys me.

i'd really like to get into Esme's head more. we don't know very much about her either.

With Victoria, I can see where you're coming from. I have to admit I'd be a bit dissapointed if there was nothing more to Victoria than what we've seen already, probably because, at least behind the scenes, there's so much more to the other characters in the book.

i think there will be a new villan in Eclipes b/c in the first chapter theres a new vampire on the loose in seattle.

Though it is possible that the vampire is actually Victoria, though it would be interesting if Victoria's changed someone else. Come to think of it, she might do something like that to strengthen her side, and help her to get to Bella.

hahaha, i did something dumb. i got through about half of it(this was awhile ago, the first time i'd read it) and went to check to see how many pages there were, and when i looked, i noticed the italics, and i couldn't stop myself from reading them, and they were the werewolves talking inside Jacob's head. i didn't realize that it was in his head, though, and i saw "running away from Jacob Black" in the last paragraph and i automatically thought "omg, Bella's going to be a werewolf." then i laughed myself silly at how dumb i was when i got to the epilogue. do you think Jacob is gone for good?

it would proably matter if he needed to play a part in the next book/ books in bella's pov.

I don't want Jacob to crash the wedding...and I honestly don't really think it is in his character. I think Jake is more likely to go to the wedding and congratulate Bella and Edward. Jake isn't evil! He truly loves Bella and wants her to be happy more than anything. If Edward is what makes her happy, he will deal with that, I think.

then what about the whole epilouge of eclipse episode? the 'gets invite, breaks down, runs along the coast leaving jacob blak behind him' thing?
