I'm joining this challenge on May 22, 2010. Most of my reading is international, so my progress will be slow. I'll take full advantage of the rule allowing me to include previously read books from 2009 on.
I'll be breaking my posts down by region.

Welcome to the challenge. It look like you're off to a great start!

I still need an Idaho book, so Housekeeping caught my attention. You have two dates - did you like it so much you read it twice? I followed the link and saw you gave it 5 stars. Maybe I'll add that for Idaho.
As you add titles going forward, will you be adding mini-reviews or star ratings? Some of us have the lists like you do at the top (love your map by the way) and add the title within that list, but also add a new post to talk about the addition. I learned the hard way that if you only ever "edit" the original post, it doesn't show up as a new post in the summary of the challenge threads. Just a thought/request.
Are you in the Endless European Challenge too? you said you do more international.

I read Housekeeping the second time for a reading group. (It's not part of LT, but has its own web site at www.readliterature.com.) Not that Housekeeping isn't worth a second reading, but I wouldn't have read it again so soon otherwise.
Yes, I'll be posting additional books as separate messages. I know what you mean about edits not showing up.
I wasn't aware of the Endless European Challenge, but why not? The other geographic group to which I belong is "Reading Globally," so there is overlap all around.

California - The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler
This famous detective story shows the grittier side of Los Angeles.

Being from Missouri, I appreciate very much that you correctly placed it in the Midwest. For some reason a lot of people think we're Southerners...
