The Chevy Chase DC Library welcomes local author Dolen Perkins-Valdez on Saturday, June 12, at noon. Perkins-Valdez will read from and discuss her debut novel, Wench. The Friends of the Chevy Chase Library will provide summertime refreshments and have copies of the book available for purchase and for Perkins-Valdez to sign.
