David J. Skal's 'Death Makes A Holiday'...

I recently picked up David Skal's book on Halloween, Death Makes A Holiday: A Cultural History of Halloween, and let me tell you, it is a fantastic read for any Halloween geek. Skal also wrote The Monster Show, which comes highly recommended as well. I also picked up Halloween: From Pagan Ritual to Party Night by Nicholas Rogers, and we'll see how that one turns out.
