I noticed that Amazon now has a restored edition of the BBC/A&E version of the Pride & Prejudice miniseries (the one with Colin Firth & Jennifer Ehle). The release date is April 2010. Has anyone compared this to the previous version? Is the restored version a lot better? I already have this on DVD, but if the restored version is that much better, I'll buy it.

I hadn't considered there to be anything amiss with my "non-restored" DVD, but am also intrigued by the notion of, perhaps, additional scenes, etc.

Reading the info on the Blu-ray edition released last year, I suspect this new DVD edition comes from the same restoration. One of the Blu-ray reviewers mentions small extensions to some scenes.
