Hi everyone! I decided to join the Challenge so that I could motivate myself to read more and shorten my TBR list. My categories are as follows:
1. Books by authors that are not from the US, the UK, Canada, or Australia (because 99% of the books I've read in my entire life are by authors from those four places)
2. Books I've read before
3. Random stuff from the TBR
4. History/biography
5. Cookbook/culinary
6. Mystery
7. TBR that I own
8. Classics
9. Authors I haven't read before
10. Published since 2000 (FINISHED)
All books are intended to be ones that I haven't read before, unless otherwise noted.
What I've read so far this year to follow!

Did you like Inkheart? I've been wanting to read it in German, but I've been too lazy to get a copy of the book so far. At some point I'll give up and get an English copy, especially if the book ends up being as good as I've heard mention of!

I enjoyed Inkheart - I read it while on vacation and it was a nice, light, entertaining read. The only "problem" I had with it (if this can even be called a problem) is that since it is a children's book, the tone is not quite as "heavy" (I suppose "dark" is the word I'm looking for) as I think it should be, considering the plot. But I did like it - I gave it 4 stars - and I'm planning on reading the sequel.
