I have just finished reading The Wreck of the River of Stars by Michael Flynn.
What a fantastic novel, the characters felt so alive.
It left me with a terrific sense of loss when there were no more pages left to read.
Not often you find a nugget this good :-)

I loved it too.
My RL SFF book group did it. A few of us liked it, but the rest didn't - too much reading for them.

I could see why it might seem a little dense to some, but I felt every page was worth it.
Book Groups are tough, you can never please everyone :-)
