A Boy and His Dog was made into a film years ago with Don Johnson as the main character. He wasn't a boy, but who's complaining?

The film of A Boy and His Dog is freaking weird. I haven't read the Harlan Ellison story.

I found it in a short story anthology, in Kindle form. See how good I am at getting what I need?

It turns out the movie was already in my Netflix queue, thanks to my hubs. That's a match made in post-apocalyptic heaven.

The short story/novella of A Boy and His Dog was a formative read of my childhood. Well worth it.

I scored D's and E's, which makes sense as the books listed were some of my favorites in the genre. I love real PA and love the feminist dystopias and apocalypses as well.
