I loved Andy Minter reading Arnold Bennett - The Card and The Old Wives' Tale.
Barchester Towers read by various was great as well. Had Andy Minter as one of the readers, but even the ones with various accents and unusual ways of stressing parts of sentences ended up being fantastic.
Same goes for Pickwick Papers.
Karen Savage is a great reader, well-known by many for her readings of The scarlet pimpernel, A little princess, The railway children and others. Anything she reads is done well, and I like her choice of books.

Oh, thanks for telling me about The Railway Children, I love that story. I really enjoyed Sense and Sensibility and I also enjoyed Frankenstein, even though there were a few readers that were not that exciting.
My all time favorite so far though, had to be Annie Coleman doing Ann of Green Gables. I wish she could do the whole series. She should try to do it professionally she is that good.

Anything by Peter Yearsley is awesome.

I'd have to say Martin Geeson and Algy Pug doing Shakespeare. Their voices make me feel like everything is right in the world. Martin Geeson could murder me, and I'd be OK with it so long as he was narrating the event.
