Ep 31: Master Li and Number 10 Ox sampler

Barry Hughart's The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox is difficult to categorize -- which is a good thing. Perhaps it is somewhat exploitative of the exotism of the Orient and doesn't quite do justice to the literary tradition there. Anyhoo, the stories are at times hilarious, at times touching.
