This book had a lot of good tips and reminders about how so many different people are influential in our lives, and how God orchestrates seemingly chance meetings and interactions. ( )

I am very much enjoying this book. Debbie talks about creating a guest list of people God has placed in your life.

Its very refreshing and enjoyable.

I checked it out of the library but like it so much I have bought a copy for a friend for Christmas.

Great thought provoking questions that I can take away with me. ( )

God's presents don't always come gift-wrapped and not always easily recongized. Some might be challenges and often some presents are the people in our lives. This is a book of short stories about people who influence others.

Overall I found this book enjoyable, however perhaps not very motivation or practical. Macomber's book describes how God invites different people to her lives and each chapter presents a different type of person. Most of the book is filled with short stories about the influential people in her life or in the lives of other authors who have written about it. However, I do not feel that the book showed me adequately how to welcome people into my life and the methods presented seemed a bit oversimplistic to me. Perhaps I am too cynical to fully enjoy this book. But, Macombers stories are cute and interesting so I found it a worthwhile read just for the short stories. ( )
