Very staid and prim version, shows its age. But worth seeing as it is so complete and faithful to the book and its characters. Some good performances, especially Bernard Hepton as Sir Thomas Bertram.
Excellent mini-series by the BBC, a faithful adaptation of 'Mansfield Park'. Made in 1983 with just the right amount of satire, conversation that is close to Jane Austen's original, and some very well-cast characters.

Definitely recommended.
