This short story about a young foster child at Christmas gets right to the point. Christmas is a time for hope and belief in God. This foster child’s shoe box contains all the things that meant something to him, and he always carries it with him, until the end of the story. An interesting part of this tale is the backstory about how the author came up with the idea for this tender and inspirational Christmas story.
A short story about a boy in foster care who carries around a shoebox full of "things." He never elaborates on what "things," but he gives it as an offering to baby Jesus when he plays the part of a wise man in a Christmas play.
Really sugary story about a foster child who carries around a shoe box everywhere, until he leaves it for Jesus in the Nativity play
A short story that packs a big punch! Contains lovely lessons about the faith of a child. Bible verses and recipes and short snipets from the author are posted throughout the main story. This one will make you think and stay with you long after you have finished reading!
Very short story about a boy, Timmy who is in foster care. He keeps his treasures in a shoe box but one Christmas, presents his shoe box to baby Jesus. Very heartwarming story that reminds me of The Littlest Angel.
This small little book had alot of delightful recipes, a story, a Bible reading and thoughts from the author. Though the story was short, it was very meaningful and the recipes were inviting and I enjoyed reading the Christmas story from the Bible passages she printed. Would make a lovely Christmas gift for someone dear to you.
A short but sweet little Christmas story about a boy named Timmy who carries around a shoe box filled with his most precious treasures.
