This is an incredibly creative and fun book! Sam's sister makes him a sandwich full of nasty little critters or items that the reader must uncover on every page! Some cute rhymes and very fun pictures!
This book is really cute and fun to read because every page has flaps in which you can interact with your kids and get them involved. It is about a girl who is making a sandwich with everything on it, and in the process, her brother is secretly slipping bugs in the ingredients. When she is about to eat it, she offers some to her brother and he denys it.
This story is fun and interactive. The words rhyme and the pages have flaps and fold outs. It is a fun way to get children involved because they can guess what bug rhymes with what Sam does.
this is one of those kids love to be disgusted by. I myself have trouble reading it, even to an enthusiastic four year old who likes the idea of bugs and worms in his food
Loved this book! Kids will love it too, with the ingredients of his sandwhich being movable parts in the book!
Witty and humorous. Good for teaching prediction skills.
use to work on rhyming in small groups
