This historical romance was okay. Once the plot was established it was slow going mostly repeating the premise. I started skimming all but dialog and it did have a good ending. Lady spy Meredith is sent on an assignment to investigate Tristan, Marquis of Carmichael who once saved her life.
Great book by Petersen. This is my last book to read from her spy series, obviously I did not read in order. Enjoyed them all. Some more than others, but overall, kudos to Petersen.
A pleasure to read, enjoyed the characters and the story.
