Description

Spa manager and massage therapist Peggy Underwood's new catchphrase is impulse control. No menĀ -- particularly jocks! She's going to focus completely on herself for a change. But as soon as former football player Troy Barrington walks through the door, Peggy's control takes a time-out. Especially when Mr. Sex-in-the-Flesh ends up lying naked on her massage table! As the new landlord, Troy is on a reconnaissance mission. He's looking for a way to close the spa...permanently. But as soon as show more he relinquishes himself to Peggy's hands, Troy knows he's headed for troubleĀ -- the kind with red hair and a smart mouth. And he can hardly wait to get there.... show less

I didn't like her last book, so I didn't exactly have high hopes for this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely adored the voice, and I thought both hero and heroine were well-drawn and real. They didn't have stupid cookie-cutter flaws. they were people I liked caring about. now I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the mini-series.
I found the characters quite believable and fun and the story interesting. I giggled my way through the mud bath revenge! Peggy Underwood and Troy Barrington were well matched both in temprament and type. The two characters came across well and lept off the page and dragged me into and along with the story.

A pretty good read.
