I'm a big fan of Peter Jackson's King Kong and this book is a real treat. It is essentially an "Art of" book centered around the movie's Skull Island location and the creatures which inhabit it but it is presented as a zoological guide to the fauna of the island. It is quite a beautiful book and in addition to the expected sketches and production paintings, The World of Kong has a good amount of text which give you an insight into the ecology of the island.
