This beautiful book is composed of elegant black and white photography and informative essays on Colonial Meetinghouses. I found the images to be quite attractive and they served well as a time-ship to transport me back to Colonial times. You could almost feel the texture of the wood in the polished pages. The foreword, commentary and essays all add to the splendor of this book. The book’s creators, while recording the details of the meetinghouses’ architecture and craftsmanship, have created art themselves. This is a well done book! ( )
