Over here crying my face off. What a wonderful book. My own mother had to use a push chair and read her grandchildren many stories. They learned to pick up their toys so she could walk more safely.

When a Donnie goes to visit his grandmother who is in a wheelchair they go on imaginary walks together. On this adventure Donnie and his grandmother take a walk on a beach where is grandmother is unhindered by her wheelchair. ( )

The book would be a great way to open a discussion about imagination and connecting with elders, like grandparents. ( )
