If Molly were more sympathetic, Outcast would be a good book, possibly even a great SVH book. But she's not, so you're left wondering why you should feel badly for her when the rest of the school decides to shun her.

Molly says she feels bad about Regina's death, but instead of this being shown, we get the impression that Molly's more upset about the fact that Regina died at her party and subsequently screwed up Molly's life more than she's bothered by the fact that Regina's dead. ( )
