Fun, fast, American. The often phonetically-spelled dialogue presents a small challenge, but the brick-throwing mouse and the cat's innocent love for the mouse is a combination similar to Tom and Jerry. The stories set in Coconino Country feature Mexican jumping beans and the Rio Grande. This version was B&W throughout but also contained a short history of the strip and the author.
An ambitious collection of "Krazy Kat" from the very beginning, with annotation and introductory essay. My only quibble would be the necessary reduction of the original full-page Sunday strips makes it hard on these old eyebones to read.
