The plot is unsurprisingly very thin, being first and foremost a romance, and the erotic description hasn't really aged well. But it's not quite as Harlequinesque as I remember it from my childhood; for the first part we mostly follow Silje in her daily life a countryside church painter. As soon as the forbidden, lusty romance became the main focus, however, I lost interest. But who knows, maybe I'll rediscover it in another fifteen years. no reviews | add a review
