This book describes animals and their grooming habits. There are connections to human behaviors that leave room for students to compare and contrast their behaviors. The endpages include a full glossary of the animals and additional information about each animal. ( )

Like the other books in this series this covers one topic on a variety of animals, this one being about sleep. It's entertaining and informational. I liked it a lot. Great section with extra information at the end. ( )

Book description
This book delivers the important message of staying clean by taking baths...through the nonfiction story telling of how animals take baths.  Students are introduced to 15 different animals and learn that for animals, baths can take on many different forms.  The teacher can use the many wonderful vocabulary words found in this book to build onto the lesson:  parasites, climate, wallowing, bacteria, mammal, saliva, volcanic.  The book uses humor and supportive information.  In the back of the book is more information on each of the animals.  The illustrations are colorful and just detailed enough to support the text without becoming  a distraction.
