I liked this book and would like to have it in my classroom library. This book can be used to help those students who may not have access to farm life or know where carrots come from. (

This is part of a really great series. The pictures are bright and eye catching, but really also show the life cycle of the plants. Easy to sound out words help with early readers. I recommend this for K-2.

The one problem is that the books are rather small, so while there are good for individual reading they would not make good read aloud group books. (
