A friend was giving away books, so I took this dictionary. I prefer Merriam Webster since it is the dictionary of choice among Scrabble players, and it also includes more inormation about the history of the word. But I like how readable this one is, and the color plates are spectacular. I think this will be a fun one to browse.
Well, when I say I read it, I mean I use it! I'm more online now, but I still look up words the old school way sometimes.
Very good condition. Minor amount of writing in ink on first few pages and a small stain on back endpaper.
1960 edition. Smells so nice :)
It's the dictionary, the staple of the English language.
