One of a great series where a rabbit, bird and mouse (or is it a rat?) show young readers the joys of machines accompanied by rhyming prose. A story that mixes the physics (a simple explanation of how the aeroplane stays in the air) and the sociology (who is involved in a journey? what are the norms for air-travel?) that are sure to inform young readers and younger listeners.
