themulhern One book is a beautifully illustrated piece of literature which covers somewhat more history, one is written for older children, much more dry and truly historical. But the subject is pretty much the same and they go pretty well together.

Great history book for kids. Teaches about a time before Columbus discovered what they called the New World. Great read for early readers to learn more about history.
Uninspired writing, well-selected illustrations and maps.
