Pirate Pete and his bird steal a treasure map from a queen. As they are on their way to Mermaid island they get side tract by some other islands that Pete thinks are going to have gold but as they steal something they learn that there is no gold. They get to the mermaid island and dig up the treasure. The queen shows up and takes the treasure from them. Pete doesn't let it get them down. Pete and the bird go to find the next treasure.
A cute and fun illustrated picture book. Teaches kids to not be greedy and would be afun activity to create treasure maps in the class.
