This book's rhyme and rhythm will pique the interest of children as they learn about some interesting or uncommon vegetables. The photos are brightly colored, visually pleasing, and show the foods in their whole forms.

The kids and I loved this fun book! Any book the kids can sing along to is usually a hit. My group of kids range from 2-5 and they all loved it. We read it over and over and they were singing/chanting it all day. This book is fun because it also introduces different veggies as well. The kids had never had bok choy, radishes, eggplant and brussel sprouts. The would be a good addition to a nutrition unit, letting the kids pick out a new veggie to try each week. ( )

Gorgeous pictures of vegetables with rhyming text. Some of the vegetables seem a little esoteric, but this might work for a story time. ( )
