No current Talk conversations about this book. 1477 ( ) Crime fighters from the future chase a troubled soul with powers to warp realities into Gotham City of the past, where their quarry tips reality into another reality where they encounter the Batman. At that point things get pretty weird, as the unfortunate John Black in his panic rotates reality through a series of iterations, and the Planetary team from the future goes up against a variety of Batmans from different versions of the comic books and TV shows. This part is pretty entertaining and imaginative, really, and the conclusion when Batman talks the haunted, damaged John Black into a more sane grip on the reality of his parents' murder is a perceptive, sensitive aspect of Batman we rarely see. Good story, even though it looks primarily like a debut vehicle for a new DC title. no reviews | add a review
