No current Talk conversations about this book. 740 Actually read this and then realized I had some of the earlier comics (which I'll be reading next). But the important part is that this is part of the House of M event and they really got to have fun with that event because if flipped everything and allowed them to kill people off and then bring them back. I'm not really that familiar with a bunch of these characters, but I like that too. I was a little confused that Magik (Colosus's younger sister) was in this and is still young? Maybe that goes along with all superheroes never really aging. Anyway, one bad thing is that it just kind of ends without much resolution, but I think that's because the House of M thing was reversed by the Scarlet Witch. I am only vaguely familiar with a couple of characters in this title, and the rest I'd never heard of before in my life. It was difficult at times keeping them separated, and I didn't grow to like or feel attached to any of them. The story itself was a glorified fight scene with little plot development. Altogether, I thought that it was a boring addition to the House of M storyline; maybe I would have felt differently if I'd been keeping up with the New X-Men title. This trade includes House of M: New X-Men, Academy x (1-4) and the "sapien" half of the Secrets of House of M handbook (the other half is found in the House of M: Uncanny X-Men trade). no reviews | add a review
