Surprisingly not that dated on re-reading although of course you can find science errors compared to modern scientific findings. I was a lucky little third grader when a neighbor asked if I wanted a box of her husband's old books (she show more was strictly a romance reader) and boy have I been grateful ever since (I am now almost 50) show less
