Cute and funny chick lit about a divorced marriage planner's adventures into weddings and love, fraught with misunderstandings and physical appearance angst.
I loved this book. Funny and witty it carries you through the ups and downs of relationships. Light read but very entertaining. I can't wait to read the follow up.
Cara Lockwood's first novel is the story of a wedding planner (Lauren) who's been walked on for so long she doesn't even quite notice anymore. Into her life sweeps Nick Corona, a dashing firefighter who seems much too attracted to her to be real. So what's the deal with him, anyway? It's a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed it, though it didn't have the same "OMG THIS IS MY LIFE" resonance that her book "Dixieland Sushi" did.
This was a quick, enjoyable book, suitable for a day at the beach, and one with very little substance. This one kept me turning the pages, but it was even sillier than most.
Very quick read, I enjoyed it. It was witty and funny and I would recommend it to friends looking for something quick to read.
Funny and engaging and real. I can relate to the dark and hilarious way the protagonist give words to her single situation.

"There were a lot of funny scenes and I enjoyed Lockwood's writing style, and though there was not anything special about it, it was a fun light summer read."
