A little girl receives many gifts from her mummy for the 13 nights of Halloween. Based off of the 12 Day of Christmas, this story weaves around all the Halloween monsters and creatures we grew up with and is a fun and entertaining book that children love to hear. It's a fun book that will help struggling readings with the words that are constantly repeated, counting up and down, and rhyming. A fun book to read each Fall season. ( )

The book is a great spinoff of 12 days of christmas! I really enjoyed the figurative language and pictures. There is not lesson learned but it's a very catchy and interesting storyline. ( )

I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a cute book for children. It is almost like the 12 days of Christmas just a different form. Very good book to keep children interested. ( )

I am a huge halloween fan so of course I thought this book was adorable. If any child celebrates christmas they could see some similarities to the 12 nights of christmas. The illustrations in this book are awesome! The amount of detail in every picture is amazing, and you can tell the illustrator took a lot of time creating them. It really engages the reader, and has the reader wondering what will come on the next day. I only rented this book from my local library for I am for sure going to be purchasing for my future classroom! ( )
