After reading this book it was clear it was a pretty simple picture book that can just keep a child interested to read, simply by the simple vocab and colorful pictures. But I found that this picture book was not only just to try and get a child to get interested in reading, but it also gave some factual information also. The text not only described what was going on in the picture, but there was also italicized text that gave really simple and general facts about beavers. I liked how it was interesting and yet informational at the same time. I could recommend this book for either gender, and I'm sure a child that loves wildlife would enjoy this book.
Informational book about beavers. What beavers eat and do. Why they have their teeth that way for... The beavers in this book live in North America but we can see them in Asia and Europe too. Beavers dam a stream with sticks and they make themselves ponds. Beavers eat lily roots and bark.
