Viking (Eyewitness Books)

The wonderful series of "Eyewitness" books is excellent for any library, young or old. Gorgeous high resolution photos, along with just enough facts to capture your interest make for a winning combination.

ELIB 530A LibraryThing – Part E – survey This Eyewitness Book is an authoritative introduction to Vikings. It is a book that both adults and children can use to find useful and interesting facts. Each two-page spread has multiple photos and information about some facet of Viking life. It is a book that does not need to be read cover to cover so it lends itself well to being used as a preliminary resource on different sub-topics of the culture. What I like about the book is that it covers the breadth of Viking life and not just their weapons and ships.

The same 2-page layout with great photos and interesting facts as all the titles in this series. I sometimes use this series for writing prompts or copywork. The title explores the world of the Vikings.

Eyewitness books might just have their own section at this point.
