Kevin Anderson has created the basis for a world that is interesting and could have potential for more if possible, and all this in only a novella. The novelette in the second half from Steven Savile keeps you engaged and you find out what happens when everyone finally reaches Tau Ceti. My only reservation lays with how the characters are left at the end. Overall though this is a very enjoyable team up. The first part was fairly predictable, but the second was an interesting twist with a nice resolution. ( )
