If you know me, you know I am obsessed with a Hades & Persephone retelling. Give them all to me please!!!
I really enjoyed this take on the myth - and I appreciate a Zeus who isn't a complete asshole (my heart belongs to Hades but I'm always going to want Zeus to be a better guy lol). This was a short, fast STEAMY read. It opens with a naked Persephone falling into Hades's lap, like a surprise gift! Anyway, highly recommend!
CW's: explicit sex, no kidnapping but Persephone ends up in Hades's domain due to trickery (on the part of Zeus), strained family dynamics

The title of this book is definitely appropriate for the subject matter! I really enjoyed the author's narrative and the backstories of Hades and Persephone. I always like retellings of my favorite myth, and this book certainly is one of the fun ones! 4.25/5 stars.
I love Hades and Persephone retellings. This was a lighthearted read with snark and steamy sex. I liked the author's spin on where Persephone's power comes from (she has a shard of Gaia's power) and her lessons to use her power. I loved the names of Cerebus' heads (Right, Middle and Bob). There's not a lot of plot or character development, it's about what you expect from erotica - but a fun interpretation. 3 stars.
This was great, I felt like I was reading an "Immortals After Dark" book. The author's voice sounded very close to Cole's voice. Hades was perfect, the right shade of bad and sweet. Persephone balanced Hades, she didn't take any of his crap and brought light into his world. A very good and satisfying quickly.
In the words of my husband, this book knows exactly what it is and just goes for it. Short and crazy. Read it if you want a retelling of hades & persephone in which they really like each other.
Probably not mythologically accurate but still a fun, steamy read.
